PRIME LOCATION
In the heart of the Piedmont area of North Carolina, we are the second-largest city in the Charlotte-Concord-Gastonia Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), as identified by the United States Census Bureau. We are less than 30 minutes away from Uptown Charlotte and the Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
Our City has its own Gastonia Municipal Airport, which is a short drive from our downtown area. This airport serves a growing number of corporate and personal aircraft. Interstate 85 and US Highway 321 provide our residents and companies with great accessibility and mobility to our surrounding areas. Greensboro and Raleigh, North Carolina, are north of Gastonia and only two to three hours away. Asheville is two hours west of Gastonia.
